Buoy #1 - Real Time Data

Notice: The Great South Bay meteorlogical and oceanographic buoy has gone offline for the next month or so for its annual refurbishment. Should be back on station late February/early March.

There was a minor boating incident with the buoy which plucked the Wind Bird
from the top of the buoy so winds are not being reported. And new Wind Bird is
on order and will be installed as soon as possible.

Thanks to Mark DeAngelis and the West Sayville Boat Basin
for their assistance in launching the buoy and keeping the system going.
